Sometimes confused with "resurrection", Necromancy is a term used to describe the ability of some characters to summon the spirits of the deceased, summon demons, and/or summon the dead. Necromancy is a form of divination, and therefore can often be misunderstood as 'voodoo' or occultism. Necromancy differs from these forms of physical magic due to its direct influence and lack of ritual.
